“I remember my dad taking my family and I to San Francisco to explore the city. We stepped onto the pier and began exploring. My parents decided to go get their coffee and my siblings and I get hot chocolate. As we were walking through San Francisco, we stumbled upon the Alcatraz. We took our pictures, read about the history of the island and the prison. When my dad see’s that there’s a tour that takes you to the island, he goes about buying the tickets. All I hear is my mother say “absolutely not, we’re not going.” My dad gives in and we continue to explore San Francisco as a family.”
